Canesten Unidia Cream 15g

Canesten Unidia Cream is indicated for the cutaneous treatment of interdigital mycoses (Tinea pedis, Tinea manuum) caused by susceptible fungi and pityriasis versicolor.

Active substance: one gram of cream contains 10mg of bifonazole.

Dosage and method of administration:

The cream should be used once a day, preferably at night, before going to bed, applying a thin layer to the affected skin area and rubbing lightly. Normal treatment periods are: foot mycoses, athlete's foot 3 weeks (Tinea pedis, Tinea pedum interdigitalis), hand mycoses 2-3 weeks (Tinea manuum), pityriasis versicolor 2 weeks. To treat an area corresponding to the palm of the hand, a strip of cream (1 cm long) is usually sufficient.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. The use of Canesten Unidia Cream in combination with other medicines containing warfarin in its composition must be monitored. Pregnancy and breastfeeding.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
