Amorolfina Schollmed 50mg / ml Medicinal Varnish it is used to treat fungal infections (onychomycosis) affecting up to two nails and affecting the upper half or the sides of the nail. If the infection affects more nails or the entire nail, you should see a doctor.

Amorolfina Schollmed kills a wide variety of fungi that cause nail infections. Fungal infections of the nails usually cause changes in the color of the nails (white, yellow or brown), in their thickness and brittle nails, although their appearance can vary widely.

Active substance: amorolfine (as hydrochloride)

Posology and method of administration:

Apply this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet, or as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Use in adults and the elderly.

Treat the infected nail as described in the leaflet. THE NAIL MUST BE TREATED ONCE A WEEK. The weekly application of the varnish should be maintained for 6 months for fingernails and 9 to 12 months for toenails. A treatment review should be done every three months. Nails grow slowly so it can take 2 to 3 months before you start to see improvements. It is important to continue using the medicated varnish until the infection has disappeared and until a healthy nail has grown.

According to the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
