Bifonazol Farmoz 10mg/g Cream 15g

Bifonazol Farmoz It is indicated for the cutaneous treatment of interdigital mycoses (Tinea pedum, Tinea manuum) caused by susceptible fungi and pityriasis versicolor.

Active substances: one gram of cream contains 10 mg of bifonazole.

Bifonazole is an imidazole derivative with a broad spectrum of antimycotic action that includes dermatophytes, filamentous and yeast-like fungi and other fungi such as Malassezia furfur. It is also effective on Corynebacterium minutissimum.

Posology and method of administration:

The cream should be used once a day, preferably at night, before bedtime, applying a thin layer to the affected skin area and rubbing lightly. To obtain a lasting cure, treatment with bifonazole cream must be carried out consistently and for an adequate period of time. Normal treatment periods are: Mycoses of the foot, athlete's foot 3 weeks (Tinea pedum, Tinea pedum interdigitalis). Mycoses of the hands 2-3 weeks (Tinea manuum). Pityriasis versicolor 2 weeks. To treat an area corresponding to the palm of the hand, a strip of cream (1 cm long) is usually sufficient.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
