Is it mandatory to register on the website to make a purchase?

Yes, to place an order you need to create a client account on our website. After registering, simply add the products you want to purchase to the shopping cart and follow all the steps for the purchase to be completed successfully. You will receive a confirmation in your email as soon as you complete your order.

How can I ask a question?

How do I check the status of my order?

You can check the status of your order in your client account. Click on the “Order History and Details” option.

Where can I access the tracking of my order?

You can check the tracking of your order in the email received once as soon as your order was shipped, or in your client account. Click on the “Order History and Details” option and then select the desired order. The tracking will be at the bottom of the page.

What payment methods are available?

The available payment methods are:

  • Bank transfer.
  • Credit card.
  • Multibanco reference.
  • MB Way.

What are the average preparation and delivery times?

Our preparation time takes between 3 to 5 working days. After shipping, the average delivery times are:

  • Mainland Portugal: between 1 to 5 working days.
  • Madeira and Azores: between 5 to 10 working days.
  • European Union (except Portugal): between 5 to 10 working days.
  • Rest of the world: approximately 12 working days (does not include the time needed for customs procedures and/or other logistical procedures in the destination countries).

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order as long as it has not been shipped yet. You must send an email to Customer Service to make the request: online@farmacianovadamaia.pt.

Can I return my order?

Returns are only possible if your item is not a medicine, medical device, supplement, food, personal care equipment or articles, hygiene products or dermocosmetics. The deadline for returns is 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the order. To make a return, you must access the After Sales Service page.

What are the average refund times?

Refunds are made up to 14 days after the order return/cancellation notice date. In case of return, refunds are only made after receipt and verification of the returned goods. The cost of return is borne by the customer.

How can I delete my account?

In order for your data to be deleted from our database, you must send an email to Customer Service: online@farmacianovadamaia.pt.

I have a problem with my order, what can I do?

If there is any problem with your order, you must contact Customer Service: online@farmacianovadamaia.pt. Make sure you add all the information (order reference, images, explanation of the problem) in a single email, in order to speed up the help process for our team and avoid multiple email exchanges.

Can I place an order online and pick it up at the Pharmacy?

Yes, all orders placed online can be collected from our premises. You must select that option when placing your order. Once the order is ready for collection, you will receive a confirmation email.

How can I ensure that the purchase was completed successfully?

Once your purchase is complete, you will receive a confirmation email and an order reference. If you do not receive confirmation of your purchase (make sure to check your SPAM folder first), please contact Customer Service: online@farmacianovadamaia.pt.

Do I need a prescription to buy medicines or other products?

A medical prescription is only necessary for medicines that are subject to medical prescription. You can send us your prescription by filling out the specific form found on the main page of our website.

How can I receive my medicines?

You can pick up your medicine order at our Pharmacy (physical store) or request the home delivery service, available only in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa and Vila do Conde. Orders that contain medicines and have a delivery address in a municipality other than those mentioned above will be automatically cancelled and refunded (if the payment has been made).

What is the delivery time for medicines to my home?

Medicines purchased online are delivered within a maximum period of 24 hours after payment has been made. We only ship orders on working days. Orders placed over the weekend/holidays are shipped on the following working day.
