Zodon 25mg/20ml Oral Solution is suitable for:

Cats: For the treatment of infected wounds and abscesses caused by Staphylococcus spp. and Streptococcus spp. susceptible to clindamycin.

Dogs: For the treatment of infected wounds, abscesses, oral cavity/teeth infections caused by or associated with clindamycin-sensitive Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Bacteroides spp., Fusobacterium necrophorum and Clostridium perfringens species. Adjunct to mechanical or surgical periodontal therapy for the treatment of gum and periodontal tissue infections. For the treatment of osteomyelitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus

Active substances: Clindamycin 25mg

Target species: Canines (dogs) and felines (cats).

Dosage and administration route:

Cats: Infected wounds, abscesses: 11 mg clindamycin per kg body weight every 24 hours or 5.5 mg/kg every 12 hours for 7 to 10 days. Treatment should be discontinued if no therapeutic effects are observed after 4 days.

Dogs: Infected wounds, abscesses, oral cavity/teeth infections: 11 mg clindamycin per kg/body weight every 24 hours or 5.5 mg/kg every 12 hours for 7 to 10 days. Treatment should be discontinued if no therapeutic effects are observed after 4 days. Treatment of bone infections (osteomyelitis): 11 mg clindamycin per kg body weight every 12 hours for a minimum period of 28 days.
