Aleon is indicated as a mydriatic and cycloplegic agent in:
- Irites;
- Iridocyclitis;
- Uveitis;
- Scleritis;
- As a preventive of postoperative inflammation of the iris and ciliary body;
- Some eye exams.
Active substances: Atropine sulfate 10 mg / ml, Benzalkonium chloride: 0.1 mg / ml.
Aleon, has myriatic and cycloplegic properties that are conferred by the presence in its composition of atropine sulfate at 1%. The mydriatic effect of the veterinary medicine, being quite persistent, is advisable in relation to the use of other mydriatics with more rapid action, in cases of ocular inflammation, such as iritis and keratitis. Accommodation can be recovered quickly using a miotic.
Posology and route of administration:
1 drop in the eye (s), 2 to 3 times a day.
The veterinary medicinal product must be applied topically to the ocular mucosa.
Open the lid of the container, and apply light pressure on it, dropping the liquid drop by drop at the recommended dose. Avoid contact of the dropper bottle with the eye.
The duration of treatment should be determined by the veterinarian based on the animal's clinical situation.
