Advocate Dog 250 10-25kg 3 pipettes

Advocate Dog is an antiparasitic indicated for the treatment and prevention of mixed infestations by internal and external parasites in dogs .

Active substances: Advocate for dogs contains imidacloprid 250 mg/ml and moxidectin 62.5 mg/ml.

Indications:

• For dogs suffering from, or at risk of, mixed parasitic infections:
• Treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis),
• Treatment of infestations by biting lice (Trichodectes canis),
• Treatment of ear mite infestations (Otodectes cynotis), sarcoptic mange (caused by Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis), demodicosis (caused by Demodex canis),
• Prevention of cardiopulmonary dirofilariasis (L3 and L4 larvae of Dirofilaria immitis),
• Treatment against circulating microfilariae (Dirofilaria immitis),
• Prevention of cutaneous dirofilariasis (L3 larva of Dirofilaria repens),
• Reduction of circulating microfilariae (Dirofilaria repens),
• Prevention of angiostrongylosis (L4 larvae and immature adults of Angiostrongylus vasorum),
• Treatment of infections caused by Angiostrongylus vasorum and Crenosoma vulpis,
• Prevention of spirocercosis (Spirocerca lupi),
• Treatment of infections by gastrointestinal nematodes (L4 larvae, immature adults and adults of Toxocara canis, Ancylostoma caninum and Uncinaria stenocephala, adults of Toxascaris leonina and Trichuris vulpis).

Contraindications:

Do not use in puppies under 7 weeks of age. Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients. Do not use in dogs classified in Class 4 of cardiopulmonary dirofilariasis, as the safety of the veterinary medicinal product has not been established in this group of animals. In cats, the corresponding “ Advocate for cats” (0.4 or 0.8 ml) should be administered, which contains imidacloprid 100 mg/ml and moxidectin 10 mg/ml. Ferrets: Do not use Advocate for dogs. Only “ Advocate for small cats and ferrets” (0.4 ml) should be administered.

Dosage and route of administration:

The minimum recommended doses are 10 mg imidacloprid per kg body weight and 2.5 mg moxidectin per kg body weight, equivalent to 0.1 ml Advocate for dogs per kg body weight. The treatment regimen should be based on the individual veterinary diagnosis and the local epidemiological situation. For external use only. Remove a pipette from the packaging. Then hold the pipette upright, twist and remove the cap. Replace the cap in the opposite direction and turn the cap to remove the seal from the pipette.
