

Treatment of ear infections in dogs and cats.
Ointment for the treatment of ear infections (otitis externa) in dogs and cats caused by bacteria (Staphylococcus sp, Escherichia coli, Pasteurella sp, Proteus sp, etc.), fungi (Malassesia sp, Cândida sp, etc.) and parasites (mites).
It has in its constitution: permethrin, neomycin, nystatin and triamcinolone.
Triamcinolone acetonide is a synthetic glucocorticoid used in veterinary medicine for its anti-inflammatory and anti-itch properties.
Neomycin sulfate is an antibiotic of the aminoglucoside group with a bactericidal action against many Gram-negative aerobes and some staphylococcal strains.
Nystatin is an antifungal with a spectrum of activity against fungi and yeasts like Candida and Malassezia.
Permethrin is a synthetic type I pyrethroid, with acaricidal and insecticidal activity. It acts on sodium channels blocking the transmission of nerve impulse in insects.
Directions for use:
After cleaning the exterior, introduce a pea-like amount of the medicine and carefully massage the base of the ear. Clean the surplus medicine in the ear.
Use once a day until the problem is resolved. The recommended treatment duration is 21 days (duration of the reproductive cycle of Otodectes cynotis).
