Cazitel Plus 2 tablets

Cazitel Plus is a drug indicated for the treatment of mixed infections of nematodes and tapeworms of the following species:

Nematodes: Ascarids: -Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina (adult and late immature forms). Hookworms-Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum (adults). Tricurids-Trichuris vulpis (adults).

Cestodes: Echinococcus species, (E. granulosus, E. multilocularis), Taenia species, (T. hydatigena, T. pisiformis, T. taeniformis), Dipylidium caninum (adult and immature forms).

Do not use simultaneously with piperazine compounds.

Active substances: Praziquantel 50mg, Pirantel 50mg and Febantel 150mg

Target species: Dogs.

Posology and route of administration:

The recommended doses are: 15 mg of febantel / kg of body weight, 5 mg of pyrantel / kg of body weight (equivalent to 14.4 mg of pyrantel embonate / kg) and 5 mg of praziquantel / kg.
This is equivalent to 1 tablet of the veterinary medicine per 10 kg of body weight.

The tablets can be administered directly to the dog or mixed with food. Fasting measures are not necessary before or after treatment.

In case of risk of re-infestation, the veterinarian must assess the need and frequency of subsequent administration.
