Flavoker 500mg 60 tablets

Flavoker is indicated in adults for the treatment of signs and symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency such as pain, heaviness, tired legs, restless legs, night cramps, leg swelling and trophic changes. Symptomatic treatment of acute hemorrhoidal crisis.

Active Substances: 500mg of diosmin and 50mg of other flavonoids expressed in hesperidin.

The flavonoids present reduce venous distensibility and decrease venous stasis. They reduce capillary permeability and reinforce capillary resistance. They also exert anti-inflammatory action through effects on prostaglandin synthesis.

Dosage and method of administration:

Oral route. The tablets must be taken with meals. Chronic venous insufficiency: The usual daily dose is 2 tablets, taken as a single dose or in 2 separate doses. Treatment should continue for at least 4 to 5 weeks. Hemorrhoidal crisis: During the first 4 days of treatment, the daily dose is 6 tablets. During the following 3 days, the recommended daily dose is 4 tablets. The recommended maintenance dose of treatment is 2 tablets per day. In this indication, Flavoker is intended for short-term treatments only.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.
