Meritene Clinical Frutta is a food for special medicinal purposes that constitutes an incomplete polymeric, hypercaloric and fiber-free formula.

Characteristics:

• Indicated for nutritional management of patients with malnutrition or at risk of malnutrition and changes in lipid metabolism.
• Alternative to the common milky texture of supplements.
• Texture and flavor similar to fruit juice for better treatment adherence.
• Energy concentration: 1.5kcal/ml.
• Energy distribution of macronutrients (Lipids/Carbohydrates/Protein): 0/81/19.
• One bottle provides 300kcal, 61g of carbohydrates and 14g of protein.
• Clinically lactose free.
• Gluten free.
• Not suitable as a sole food source.
• Recommended for adults.

Directions for use:

The recommended daily dose is 1 to 2 packets per day, depending on the patient's nutritional needs and age, as advised by a doctor. Shake before use. It is recommended to consume cold. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, store covered at room temperature for a maximum of 6 hours and up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
