Zolinol 0.25mg/ml Nasal Drops is indicated for the symptomatic relief of nasal congestion, in cases of rhinorrhea and associated with flu states and colds. Zolinol is indicated in adults (including the elderly) and in children over 2 years of age.

Active substance : 0.25mg/ml xylometazoline hydrochloride.

Dosage and method of administration:

The 0.25 mg/ml solution is recommended for adults (including the elderly) and children over 2 years of age who are sensitive. Nasal use. Adults: Instill 2 or 3 drops in each nostril every 12 hours. Children from 2 to 6 years: instill 2 or 3 drops in each nostril every 12 hours. Sensitive children over 6 years of age: identical dose as for adults. One application in the morning and the other at night is recommended. Never exceed two applications in 24 hours. The duration of treatment should not exceed three days. Always wash your hands before applying the drops to your nose. Blow your nose. To open the bottle, unscrew the cap by turning it counterclockwise. Tilt your head back slightly, standing or sitting. Squeeze the bottle lightly until the prescribed drop(s) is introduced into the nostril as recommended by the doctor or pharmacist. Repeat steps 2 through 4 for the other nostril. Keep your head tilted back for a few minutes to allow the medicine to distribute through your nose. In order to minimize the risk of contamination of the dropper bottle and solution, clean the dropper tip after each use. Replace the cap by turning it until it firmly touches the bottle. Do not overtighten the cover. After administering the product, wait a few minutes before cleaning your nose again. Do not share the bottle with another person.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Hypersensitivity to other adrenergic agents.
