Lasa 10mg it is indicated for symptoms of gastric hyperacidity, such as heartburn or heartburn and heart attack.

Active substances: 10mg of famotidine

Famotidine reduces the production of hydrochloric acid and pepsin, as well as the volume of basal gastric secretion after stimulation. The drug appears to have minimal effects on postprandial or fasting serum gastrin concentrations. Famotidine does not appear to affect gastric emptying, lower esophageal sphincter pressure or bile secretion.

Posology and method of administration:

The experience in children is limited. LASA should only be administered to individuals older than 12 years. The average dosage is 1 or 2 tablets per day (not to exceed 20 mg per day) and for a period that should not exceed two weeks. Take with a little water. As a prophylactic of dyspeptic symptoms, the drug should be taken 1 hour before meals.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

According to the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde.
