Neobefol 0.4mg+0.002mg is indicated for the prevention of folic acid and vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) deficiency states, especially in women of childbearing age who have planned to become pregnant for at least one month before conception and three months after conception, as prophylaxis of neural tube defects.

Active substances: 0.4mg of folic acid and 0.002mg of cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12).

Dosage and method of administration:

1 tablet daily, taken orally before meals.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients.

In accordance with current legislation, non-prescription medicines in Portugal can only be delivered to the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
