Tebarat 0.125mg/0.25ml Eye Drops 30units

Tebarat 0.125 mg/0.25 ml Eye Drops is indicated for the treatment and prevention of symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis in adults and children over 4 years and for the treatment of symptoms of perennial (non-seasonal) allergic conjunctivitis in adults and children over 12 years old.

Active substances: 0.5mg of azelastine hydrochloride 0.05% (0.5mg/ml).

Azelastine is a potent, long-acting antiallergic compound with selective H1 antagonist properties. After topical ocular administration, an additional anti-inflammatory effect can be detected.

Dosage and method of administration:

Seasonal allergic conjunctivitis: The usual dose for adults and children over 4 years is one drop in each eye twice a day, which can be increased, if necessary, to four times a day. If exposure to the allergen is anticipated, Tebarat should be administered prophylactically prior to exposure. Perennial (non-seasonal) allergic conjunctivitis: The usual dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is one drop in each eye twice a day, which can be increased, if necessary, to four times a day. As safety and efficacy have been demonstrated in clinical trials over a period of up to 6 weeks, the duration of any treatment should be limited to a maximum of 6 weeks. Warning for use without a prescription: Please note that when using Tebarat for more than 6 weeks, medical supervision is required, even in cases of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis.

Contraindications:
