Acarene Spray is an anti-parasitic spray solution.

Active substance: Piperonyl butoxide 0.700g (w / w); dFenotrine 0,200g (m / m)

Target species: Pigeons, parrots and other parrots, song and ornamental birds and pet rabbits.

Therapeutic indications specifying the target species:

Pigeons, parrots and other parrots, songbirds and ornamental birds: Local treatment of deplumming acariasis, various plumage acariasis, acariasis caused by red mites (Dermanyssus gallinae, passarinus, etc.) and dermatosis caused by mites such as Cnemidocoptes pilae, C columbae in cage and cage birds.

Companion rabbits: prophylaxis of parasitic infections caused by ectoparasites and treatment of ear scab caused by Psoroptes cunicoli, infestation by Cheyletiella parasitovorax, Sarcoptes scabini, Demodex cunicoli and fleas.

Posology and route (s) of administration:

Shake the package before use.

Pigeons, parrots and other parrots, songbirds and ornamental birds: Place the spray on the animals at a distance of 30 cm. Apply the product only for 3-5 seconds, in order to avoid complaints due to excessive cooling due to the rapid evaporation of the propellant and consequent risk of respiratory infection. Repeat the treatment 5 days after the first application, to avoid reinfestation. To reduce the risk of a large-scale infestation, it is advisable to treat every 30 days, and reduce it to 15 days during infestation periods. In the case of deplumming acariasis, it is advisable to burn the fallen feathers.

Pet rabbits: Topical application on the fur. For a rabbit of average companion weight of 1 kg it is sufficient to administer 3 applications of 5 seconds each. It is recommended to administer the product against the hair (in the opposite direction to the hair). As a prophylaxis, it is recommended to repeat the administration every 15-20 days.

Avoid spraying the veterinary medicine on the animals' eyes, beak and / or snout. Do not administer a higher dose than recommended.
