Brufen is indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, and fever.

Active ingredient: Each softgel contains 400 mg of ibuprofen.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults and adolescents weighing 40 kg or more (aged 12 years and older). The recommended single dose is 400 mg (1 capsule), which can be taken up to 3 times a day if necessary. The interval between doses should be at least 6 hours. The maximum daily dose of 1200 mg should not be exceeded in a 24-hour period. For oral administration. The soft capsule should be taken with a glass of water and should not be chewed. It is recommended that patients with sensitive stomachs take ibuprofen with food. In adolescents aged 12 to 18 years, if this medication is needed for more than 3 days, or if symptoms worsen, a doctor should be consulted. In adults, if pain lasts more than 4 days, fever persists for more than 3 days, or if pain or fever worsens or other symptoms appear, the clinical situation should be evaluated.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. History of hypersensitivity reactions (e.g., bronchospasm, asthma, rhinitis, angioedema, or urticaria) in response to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. History or current recurrent active peptic ulcer/bleeding (two or more distinct episodes of proven ulceration or bleeding). History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous NSAID therapy. Severe renal impairment. Severe hepatic impairment. Severe heart failure (New York Heart Association class IV). Last trimester of pregnancy. Unexplained blood formation disorders. Cerebrovascular hemorrhage or other active bleeding. Conditions involving an increased tendency to bleed. Severe dehydration (e.g., caused by vomiting, diarrhea, or insufficient fluid intake).
