Fluidrenol 6mg/ml Syrup 200ml

Fluidrenol 6mg/ml Syrup is a mucolytic adjuvant in the antibacterial treatment of respiratory infections in the presence of bronchial hypersecretion.

Active Substance: 6mg ambroxol.

Ambroxol is a specific fluidifier that acts on the viscosity and structure of mucus. It increases the production of pulmonary surfactant and stimulates ciliary activity. These actions result in improved mucus flow and transport (mucociliary clearance). The improvement in mucociliary clearance, which has been demonstrated in clinical pharmacological studies, facilitates sputum and coughing.

Dosage and method of administration:

Children up to 2 years old – ½ teaspoon, 2 times a day, after main meals. Children between 2 and 5 years old – ½ teaspoon, 3 times a day, after main meals. Children between 5 and 12 years old – 1 teaspoon, 2-3 times a day, after main meals. Adults and children over 12 years old – 2 teaspoons, 2 times a day, after main meals.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Patients with gastroduodenal ulcer.
