Lambdaline Cream 40mg/g 30g

Lambdalina Cream 40mg/g is indicated as topical anesthesia of the skin associated with needle sticks.

Active substances: Lidocaine.

Lidocaine is an amide-type local anesthetic. Topical anesthesia occurs after application, through the release of lidocaine in the skin epidermis and dermal layers, close to the pain receptors in the skin and nerve endings. Subsequently, sodium ion channels are blocked, preventing nerve impulse initiation and conduction. The degree of anesthesia depends on the time of application and the dose.

Dosage and method of administration:

A dense, even layer of cream should be applied to the skin area to be treated. Children aged between 6 and 12 years: The dose for a single application is 2-3g. The maximum daily dose is 5g. The recommended application time is 60 minutes and should not exceed two hours. Adolescents over 12 years of age and Adults: The dose for a single application is 2-3g. The maximum daily dose is 5g. The recommended application time is 60 minutes and should not exceed two hours. Children aged between 2 and 6 years: The application of Lambdalina in this age group is not recommended as no information is available. Children aged between 0 and 2 years: The application of Lambdalina in this age group is not recommended as no information is available. 1 g of cream corresponds to a layer of approximately 2.5 cm. It is recommended to use a dressing to prevent the cream from coming off before the application time has ended.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Hypersensitivity to local anesthetics of the amide type, soy or peanuts. Premature babies born before the 37th completed week of pregnancy.
