Enjomin 100mg is indicated for the prevention and treatment of nausea, vomiting, vertigo, dizziness or feeling unwell during travel and also for the symptomatic treatment of nausea, vomiting and vertigo due to Ménière's disease or other labyrinth disorders.

Active substance: Dimenhydrinate 100mg.

Enjomin's active ingredient is dimenhydrinate, H1 receptor antagonists from the ethanolamine group. This group is characterized by having antimuscarinic, antihistaminic, antiemetic activities and an evident tendency to induce sedation, being useful to reduce vomiting, nausea and in the relief of motion sickness.

Dosage and method of administration:

Travel sickness - Adults and children 12 years and older: 1/2 to 1 100 mg tablet, 30 minutes to 1 hour before travel. This dose can be repeated every 4 to 6 hours if necessary, but not to exceed 4 tablets of 100mg (400mg) in 24 hours. Children 6 to 12 years: 1/4 of a 100 mg tablet, 30 minutes to 1 hour before travel. This dose can be repeated every 4 to 6 hours if necessary, but not to exceed 1 and 1/2 tablet of 100 mg (150 mg) in 24 hours. Children from 2 to 6 years: The pharmaceutical form of tablets is not recommended for children under 6 years of age, as Enjomin is available in the pharmaceutical form of suppositories for children. Meniere's Disease - 1/2 tablet of 100mg (50mg) three times a day.

Contraindications:

Enjomin should not be administered to patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Dimenhydrinate or any of its components. Enjomin is not recommended for children under 2 years of age. Enjomin in the pharmaceutical form of tablets should only be used by children over the age of 6 years.
