Posology and route of administration:

Administration by continuous anointing (Pour on).

The veterinary medicinal product must be administered topically at a dose of 500 μg of ivermectin per kg of body weight and 20 mg of closantel per kg body weight (1 ml per 10 kg). The veterinary medicinal product should be applied along the dorsal line, in a narrow band, from the withers to the base of the tail.

To ensure delivery of the correct dose, weight should be calculated as accurately as possible, and the accuracy of the dosing gun should be assessed. If animals are treated in groups, they should be grouped according to their live weight and the veterinary medicine dosed according to this, to avoid under or overdose.

The treatment plan must be based on the local epidemiological situation and adapted to each farm. The treatment program and management to achieve more adequate parasitic control and reduce the development of resistance, should be established by the Veterinarian. Mixed infestations should be confirmed before prescribing the drug.

The effectiveness of this veterinary medicine is such that a single treatment 7 weeks after housing will control the infestation throughout the period in which the animals are housed. The veterinary medicinal product should not be repeatedly applied (for 7 weeks) to cattle.
