Malaseb Shampoo for Dogs and Cats 250ml

Malaseb Dog and Cat Shampoo is the shampoo ideal for therapy widespread or multifocal dermatitis in dogs and cats.

Active substances: Chlorhexidine digluconate, Miconazole nitrate.

Contains Miconazole (antifungal with a potent activity against fungi and yeasts) and chlorhexidine gluconate (agent antimicrobial active proven against bacteria gram-positive and gram-negative).
Canines (dogs): For the treatment and control of seborrheic dermatitis associated with Malassezia pachydermatis and Staphylococcus intermedius.
Felines (cats): As an aid in the treatment of dermatophytosis caused by Microsporum canis, together with griseofulvin.
This formulation synergistic effectively removes flaking, degrease the skin and kills microorganisms cutaneous that primarily or secondarily cause dermatitis.

Target species: Canine and Feline

Posology and method of administration:

Dogs: As a general rule, apply the shampoo twice a week until symptoms subside and subsequently weekly or as needed to keep the condition under control.

Cats: Soap twice a week, at least until the hair cultures are negative for M. canis. The maximum duration of treatment should not exceed 16 weeks. Depending on the length and type of hair, you should consider whether it is necessary to shear before treatment.

Wet the animal completely with clean water, apply Malaseb shampoo in several places and massage the hair. Use a sufficient amount of shampoo so that the foam covers the hair and skin. Make sure that the shampoo is applied around the lips, under the tail and between the fingers. Leave the animal standing for about 10 minutes, then wash it with clean water and allow it to air dry naturally in a clean, draft-free environment.
