Previcox 227mg 10 tablets

Previcox 227mg is a veterinary medicine indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, postoperative pain and inflammation associated with soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, in dogs.

Active substance: Firocoxib 227mg.

Target species: Dogs.

Dosage and route of administration:

Oral route. Osteoarthritis: Administer 5 mg per kg of body weight once daily. Tablets may be administered with or without food. Duration of treatment will depend on the response observed. As field studies were limited to 90 days, long-term treatment should be carefully evaluated and monitored regularly under the supervision of the veterinarian. Relief of post-operative pain and inflammation: Administer 5 mg per kg of body weight once daily for up to 3 days if necessary. Start treatment approximately 2 hours before surgery. After orthopedic surgery and depending on the response observed, daily treatment may be continued after the first three days, at the discretion of the veterinarian in charge.
