Credelio 112mg 2.5-5.5kg 6 tablets

Credelio is a veterinary medicine with immediate and persistent activity in the elimination of fleas (Ctenocephalides felis and C.canis) and ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus, I. hexagonus and Dermacentor reticulatus) for 1 month.

Fleas and ticks must be attached to the host and start feeding in order to be exposed to the active substance. The veterinary medicinal product can be used as part of the treatment strategy for flea allergic dermatitis (DAPP).

Active substance: Lotilaner

The lotilaner is active against fleas (Ctenocephalides felis and Ctenocephalides canis) and against tick species Dermacentor reticulatus, Ixodes hexagonus, Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus.

For fleas, onset of efficacy occurs within 4 hours after fixation, and for one month after administration of the veterinary medicinal product. Fleas that are in the animal before administration are eliminated in 6 hours.

For ticks, the onset of efficacy occurs within 48 hours after fixation, and for one month after administration of the veterinary medicinal product. I. ricinus ticks that are in the animal before administration are eliminated within 8 hours.

The veterinary medicine removes existing and newly hatched fleas on dogs before they can lay eggs. Thus, the veterinary medicine interrupts the flea's life cycle and prevents environmental contamination by fleas in the areas to which the dog has access.

Posology and route of administration:

For oral administration.

The veterinary medicinal product should be administered in order to ensure a dose of 20 to 43 mg lotilaner / kg body weight.

Credelio tablets are chewable, flavored and palatable. Administer the tablet (s) at monthly intervals, with or after food.
