Daflon 1000mg 30 chewable tablets

Daflon 1000 is a non-prescription medicine indicated for the treatment of symptoms and signs related to venous insufficiency (heavy legs, pain, tiredness, edema) and/or symptomatic treatment of hemorrhoidal crises.

Active substances: Bioflavonoids (micronized purified flavonoid fraction). Each chewable tablet contains: - 90% diosmin, i.e. 900 mg per chewable tablet, - 10% flavonoids expressed as hesperidin, i.e. 100 mg per chewable tablet.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Dosage and method of administration:

It is recommended to take 1 chewable tablet per day. In hemorrhoidal crises: in the first 4 days: 1 chewable tablet 3 times a day, in the following 3 days: 1 chewable tablet 2 times a day; then return to the maintenance dosage (1 chewable tablet per day). Method of administration: The tablets must be chewed whole and then any remains swallowed.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to medical prescription, in Portugal, can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
