Gino-Hadazin 10mg/g Vaginal Cream is indicated for the topical treatment of the following fungal infections caused by fungi susceptible to clotrimazole: recurrent vaginal candidiasis and balanic candidiasis.

Active Substances: 10mg clotrimazole.

Clotrimazole acts against fungi by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol. Inhibition of ergosterol synthesis induces structural and functional damage to the cytoplasmic membrane.

Dosage and method of administration:

The vaginal cream should be applied by inserting the applicator with the vaginal cream, as deeply as possible into the vagina, once a day, at bedtime, for 7 consecutive days. When applying, you should preferably use the supine position, with your legs slightly bent. For the treatment of balanic candidiasis of the sexual partner, apply a strip of cream about ½ cm long, 2 - 3 times a day, in a thin layer on the affected areas (glans and foreskin), then rubbing. The normal treatment period is 1 - 2 weeks. Generally: If necessary, the treatment can be repeated. During the menstrual period, treatment should not be carried out. Treatment must be completed before the start of menstruation. During pregnancy, vaginal tablets must be used and they must be inserted without using the applicator. If the lips and adjacent areas are simultaneously infected, a local treatment with the vaginal cream should also be performed. The sexual partner should also undergo local treatment if symptoms such as itching, inflammation, etc. are present. In patients under 15 years of age, a doctor should be consulted before using Gino-Hadazin vaginal cream. As this is a non-prescription drug, the patient should be advised to seek medical attention if he does not improve within the prescribed period of treatment, namely, in the event that vulvovaginal candidiasis does not improve within 3 days, if it persists after 7 days of self-medication. or if the condition recurs within 2 months of applying the vaginal cream.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Although Gino-Hadazin vaginal cream can be used by children under the age of 15 years, the use of the vaginal applicator is contraindicated.
