Apifen Honey and Lemon Sugar-Free 24 Lozenges

Apifen Honey and Lemon Sugar-Free is a non-prescription medicine indicated for the short-term relief of symptoms of sore throat and inflamed throat, such as irritation, pain and swelling, and difficulty swallowing.

Active substances: Each lozenge contains 8.75 mg of flurbiprofen.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: One lozenge every 3 to 6 hours, as needed. A maximum daily dose of 5 lozenges should not be exceeded. It is recommended that Apifen Honey and Lemon sugar-free not be used for more than three days. The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest period of time necessary to relieve symptoms, minimizing undesirable effects. For oral administration and short-term use only. The lozenge should be slowly sucked /dissolvida in the mouth. Apifen Honey and Lemon sugar-free should be moved around inside the mouth while sucking the lozenge to avoid local irritation.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. A history of hypersensitivity reactions (e.g., asthma, bronchospasm, rhinitis, angioedema, or urticaria) in response to acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs. Recurrent or past active peptic ulcer/bleeding (two or more distinct episodes with proven ulceration) and intestinal ulceration. History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, severe colitis, bleeding, or hematopoietic disorders related to previous NSAID treatment. Severe heart failure, severe renal failure, or severe hepatic impairment. Third trimester of pregnancy.
