Adult Broncholiber 6mg/ml syrup it is a mucolytic adjuvant in the antibacterial treatment of respiratory infections in the presence of bronchial hypersecretion.

Active substance: 6 mg ambroxol/ml syrup.

Ambroxol is a specific thinner that acts on the viscosity and structure of mucus. It increases the production of pulmonary surfactant and stimulates ciliary activity. These actions result in improved flow and transport of mucus (mucociliary clearance). The improvement in mucociliary clearance, which has been demonstrated in clinical pharmacological studies, facilitates sputum and coughing.

Posology and method of administration:

Treatment should not be exceeded for more than 5-7 days without consulting the treating physician. Each 5 ml of syrup is equivalent to a full teaspoon. Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml (2 teaspoons) 2 times a day. This regimen is suitable for the therapy of acute disorders of the respiratory tract and for the initial treatment of chronic conditions for up to 14 days.
