Drill Honey and Lemon Sugar Free is an antiseptic and analgesic used in the symptomatic relief of sore throat, in the symptomatic relief of mild infections of the oral cavity and oropharynx and used in oral and oropharyngeal hygiene, mainly in the postoperative period.
Active substance: 0.2mg of tetracaine hydrochloride and 3mg of chlorhexidine digluconate.
Chlorhexidine is effective against a wide range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive vegetative bacteria, yeasts, dermatophyte fungi, and lipophilic viruses. It is active against a wide range of important oral pathogens and therefore effective in the treatment of many common oral and oropharyngeal diseases. Tetracaine hydrochloride is used as a local anesthetic for its action in blocking the propagation and conduction of nerve impulses along nerve axons.
Dosage and method of administration:
Adults and adolescents over 15 years: 1 lozenge 4 times a day (24 hours). Children aged between 6 and 15 years: 1 tablet 2 to 3 times a day (24 hours). Take breaks of at least 2 hours between each tablet. Slowly dissolve in mouth without chewing.
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Children under the age of 6 years.
