Vibrocil Actilong Adult Nasal Drops 10ml

Vibrocil Actilong Adult Nasal Drops is indicated for relief from nasal congestion due to colds, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis and sinusitis, in affections of the peri-nasal sinuses, in order to facilitate the drainage of secretions, in otitis media, as an adjuvant, in the decongestion of the rhinopharyngeal mucosa and to facilitate rhinoscopy.

Active substances: Each ml of nasal drops, solution contains 1.0 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride.

Xylometazoline hydrochloride is a sympathomimetic that acts on a-adrenergic receptors. It has a vasoconstrictor effect. The effect is obtained 5 to 10 minutes after administration and lasts for 6 to 8 hours.

Posology and method of administration:

Adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older: 2 to 4 drops in each nostril, 3 times daily as needed. Do not exceed a maximum of 3 applications per day in each nostril. Blow your nose. Place your head as far back as possible or, if you are lying down, put your head to one side. Place the drops in each nostril and keep your head back for a short period of time to allow the drops to spread over the nasal mucosa. Clean and dry the dropper after use before putting it back into the bottle. To avoid possible contamination, the bottle should only be used by one person.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
