Proton 20mg 14 capsules

Proton 20mg is indicated for the treatment of reflux symptoms (eg heartburn and acid regurgitation) in adults.

Active substances: 20mg of omeprazole.

Omeprazole reduces gastric acid secretion through a highly targeted mechanism of action. It is a specific inhibitor of the acid pump in the parietal cell.

Dosage and method of administration:

The recommended dose is 20 mg once a day for 14 days. It may be necessary to take the capsules for 2-3 consecutive days to achieve improvement in symptoms. Most patients achieve complete relief from heartburn within 7 days. Once complete relief of symptoms has occurred, treatment should be discontinued.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Omeprazole, like other proton pump inhibitors, should not be used concomitantly with nelfinavir.
