Digespan 20mg 14 tablets

Digespan is indicated for the short-term treatment of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux (eg heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults.

Active substance: 20mg pantoprazole.

Pantoprazole is a substituted benzimidazole that inhibits the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach by a specific action on the proton pumps of the parietal cells.

Dosage and method of administration:

The recommended oral dose is one gastro-resistant tablet of Digespan 20 mg per day. It may be necessary to take the tablets for 2 to 3 consecutive days to achieve improvement in symptoms. After complete relief of symptoms has occurred, treatment should be discontinued. Treatment should not exceed 4 weeks without consulting a doctor.
