Todamozin 1.5mg 100 tablets

Todamozin 1.5mg is a medication indicated for smoking cessation and reduction of nicotine cravings in smokers willing to quit. The goal of treatment with Todamozin is the permanent cessation of the use of products containing nicotine.

Active substance: Each tablet contains 1.5 mg of cytisinicline (cytisine).

Dosage and method of administration:

One box of Todamozin (100 tablets) is sufficient for a complete course of treatment. The duration of treatment is 25 days. Todamozin should be taken as follows: From day 1 to day 3: 1 tablet every 2 hours - 6 tablets. From day 4 to day 12: 1 tablet every 2.5 hours - 5 tablets. From day 13 to day 16: 1 tablet every 3 hours - 4 tablets. From day 17 to day 20: 1 tablet every 5 hours - 3 tablets. From day 21 to day 25: 1-2 tablets per day - Up to 2 tablets. Tobacco use should be stopped no later than the 5th day of treatment. Tobacco use should not be continued during treatment as it may worsen adverse reactions. In case of treatment failure, treatment should be discontinued and can be resumed after 2 to 3 months. Todamozin is not recommended for elderly patients over 65 years of age. Todamozin is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age. Todamozin should be taken orally with an adequate amount of water.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Unstable angina, recent history of myocardial infarction, clinically significant arrhythmia, history of recent stroke, pregnancy and breastfeeding.
