Epitact Double Protection Cushions are made from a silicone gel, patented by podiatrists, whose viscoelastic and mechanical characteristics are similar to skin tissue. It distributes the body's weight over the entire support area and replaces the weakened natural plantar layer, in addition to limiting friction in the bunion area.

Features :

• The thickness of the bunion protector, just 1mm of gel, allows you to benefit from the advantages of Epithelium 26, without putting additional pressure on the bunion.
• The plantar protection is 2.2 mm thick, which allows the body's weight to be distributed over the entire support area and replaces the weakened natural plantar layer.
• Even if washed regularly, they can be used daily for several months. Sold in pairs.
• Double protection pads are simple protections. They are not intended to correct hallux valgus.
• Composition: Silicone, polyamide/elastane fabric.

Directions for use:

For greater comfort, place directly in contact with the skin on both feet (unless there is an unprotected wound). The printed area of the fabric should be in contact with the sole of the foot. Never place it upside down. Place the foot on the Double Protection Pad, fitting it between the big toe and the second toe. For better preservation, wear tights or socks on top. They should be wide enough to avoid compression of the feet. Machine washable at 40°C, in the washing bag provided, or by hand (without rubbing). Leave to dry naturally. Do not iron. Do not use on unprotected wounds. In cases of people suffering from arteritis, diabetes, polyneuritis, neuropathy of the lower limbs or ulcers: ask your doctor or podiatrist, then monitor your foot during use. The tissue between the 1st and 2nd toes can be a source of friction. Not recommended for diabetics and people suffering from arteritis.
