Meritene Clinical Diabet Plus is a specially formulated food for diabetes, containing a complete polymeric formula that is high in calories, high in protein, with fiber, and has a low glycemic index.

Characteristics:

• Indicated for the nutritional management of patients with increased protein needs and with pathologies that lead to malnutrition or risk of malnutrition, such as patients with type 1 or type 2 diabetes or glucose intolerance and/or with problems associated with ingestion, absorption or malnutrition, in cases of anorexia, insufficient intake, pressure ulcers, hip fracture, dementia, oncological disease, frailty, protein requirements or difficulty swallowing and/or chewing.
• Energy concentration: 1.6 kcal/ml.
• Energy distribution of macronutrients (Lipids/Carbohydrates/Fiber/Protein): 35/39/3/23.
• One bottle (200ml) provides 200kcal; 12.6g of lipids; 31.4g of carbohydrates; 5g of fiber and 18g of protein.
• Clinically lactose-free.

Directions for use:

As an exclusive diet: Depending on the patient's nutritional needs, according to medical advice. As a complementary diet: 1-3 packs/day. Ready to use orally or via feeding tube. Do not administer intravenously. UHT solution. Packaged in a protective atmosphere. It is recommended to take it cold.
