Buscopan Compositum N 20 tablets

Buscopan Compositum N it is indicated for adults to relieve abdominal pain or discomfort associated with transient and moderate spasms of the gastrointestinal tract and in primary dysmenorrhea.

Active substances: 10 mg of butylscopolamine bromide and 500 mg of acetaminophen.

The butylscopolamine bromide contained in Buscopan Compositum N exerts a spasmolytic action on the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract and the biliary and genitourinary tract. The paracetamol contained in Buscopan Compositum N has an analgesic and antipyretic action, in addition to an antipyretic effect very mild inflammatory.

Posology and method of administration:

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the following doses are recommended: Adults: 1 to 2 coated tablets, 3 times a day. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 6 tablets. Buscopan Compositum N should not be used for more than 3 days, nor in doses higher than those recommended, without specific indication by the doctor. Tablets must not be chewed. They should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of water.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
