Hoggar 20 Pills

Hoggar is a non-prescription drug indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of occasional insomnia in adults.

Active ingredient: Each orodispersible tablet contains 25mg of doxylamine hydrogen succinate.

Dosage and method of administration:

Oral route. Adults should take 25mg of doxylamine hydrogen succinate. For more severe sleep disturbances, a maximum dose of 50 mg doxylamine hydrogen succinate can be taken. The tablet should be taken between ½ to 1 hour before going to bed. If possible, treatment of acute sleep disorders should be limited to single doses. The duration of treatment should be as short as possible. In general, the duration of treatment can vary from a few days to a week. Treatment should be discontinued no later than two weeks of daily use.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Acute asthma attack. Closed-angle glaucoma. Pheochromocytoma. Prostatic hyperplasia with urinary retention. Acute intoxication with alcohol, sleep or pain medications, and psychotropic medications (neuroleptics, tranquilizers, antidepressants, lithium). Epilepsy. Concomitant treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors.

In accordance with current legislation, non-prescription medicines in Portugal can only be delivered to the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
