Vicks Sinex Respir 0.5 mg/ml 10ml

Vicks Sinex Respir 0.5 mg/ml is indicated as a nasal decongestant in situations such as sinusitis and acute, allergic or vasomotor rhinitis.

Active substances: 22.5 micrograms of oxymetazoline hydrochloride

Nasal medications containing oxymetazoline have a sympathomimetic, vasoconstrictor effect and consequently have a decongestant effect on the mucous membranes. The application of oxymetazoline in the nostrils leads to the decongestion of the inflamed nasal mucosa and, consequently, to the regularization of nasal breathing.

Posology and method of administration:

Ilvico Respir is indicated for adults and children over 6 years of age. It must not be used in children under the age of 6 years. Adults and children from 6 years of age: 1 spray in each nostril, 2-3 times a day. Ilvico Respir should not be used for a period longer than 10 consecutive days, except with a doctor's prescription. There should be a withdrawal period of a few days before repeating use of Ilvico Respir. Long-term use and overdose should be avoided, particularly in children. Doses higher than those recommended can only be used under medical supervision.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Dry rhinitis. Children under the age of 6 years.
