Dafalgan 500mg 16 effervescent tablets

Dafalgan 500mg is indicated in cases of fever (lasting no more than three days) and mild to moderate headache.

Active substance: 500 mg of paracetamol.

Paracetamol is a para-aminophenol derivative with analgesic, antipyretic and weak anti-inflammatory activity.

Posology and method of administration:

Adults and young people over 15 years (body weight approx. 45 kg or more): 1 to 2 effervescent tablets one to three times a day (maximum 6 effervescent tablets a day) in a large glass of water. Maximum daily dose: 4 g per day. Pediatric population (from 7 to 15 years): - from 7 to 13 years (body weight between 20 kg and 30 kg, approximately): half effervescent tablet one to three times a day in a large glass of water; - from 13 to 15 years (body weight from 30 kg to less than 45 kg, approximately): 1 effervescent tablet one to three times a day in a large glass of water. Oral use. Do not swallow the tablet whole. Dafalgan effervescent tablets should be dissolved in a sufficient amount of water. In particular, when two effervescent tablets are administered in the same dose, it is convenient to use a large glass (minimum: 150 ml).

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
