Daktacort 20mg/g + 10mg/g Cream 15g

Daktacort is indicated for the treatment of interdigital infections caused by dermatophytes or Candida spp., in which inflammatory symptoms and signs predominate.

Active substance: 20mg of miconazole nitrate and 10mg of hydrocortisone.

Dosage and method of administration:

Apply Daktacort cream topically to the lesion 1 to 2 times a day, massaging with your finger until the cream is completely absorbed into the skin. Treatment should continue without interruption until the lesions have completely disappeared (usually after 2-5 weeks). Caution is advised when administering Daktacort to infants and children, especially when applied to large areas or under occlusive dressings, including diapers. In infants, prolonged administration of topical corticosteroids should be avoided. In the elderly, there is a natural reduction in skin thickness, and for this reason, corticosteroids should be used sparingly and for short periods of time.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients. Tuberculous skin conditions, herpes simplex, vaccines and all forms of chickenpox.
