Fipon Duo 50mg + 60mg Cats 1 pipette

Fipon Duo 50mg + 60mg Cats is an antiparasitic medication for external use, indicated for the treatment of flea and tick infestations in cats and ferrets.

Active substance: Fipronil 50mg + (S)-methoprene 60mg per 0.5ml pipette.

Indications for use, specifying the target species:

In cats: Treatment of flea infestations, isolated or associated with ticks and/or biting lice. Eliminates fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.) with insecticidal efficacy for 4 weeks and prevents multiplication for 6 weeks, inhibiting the development of eggs, larvae and pupae. Eliminates ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus) with acaricidal efficacy for up to 2 weeks. Eliminates biting lice (Felicola subrostratus). It can be used as part of the treatment of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD), previously diagnosed by a veterinarian.

In ferrets: Treatment of flea infestations, isolated or associated with ticks. Eliminates fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.) with insecticidal efficacy for 4 weeks and prevents multiplication by inhibiting the development of eggs, larvae and pupae. Eliminates ticks (Ixodes ricinus) with acaricidal efficacy for up to 4 weeks.

Dosage and method of administration:

Spot-on solution (topical use). Apply a 0.5 ml pipette per cat, corresponding to a minimum dose of 5 mg/kg of fipronil and 6 mg/kg of (S)-methoprene, directly to the skin. In ferrets, also apply a 0.5 ml pipette, corresponding to 50 mg of fipronil and 60 mg of (S)-methoprene per animal. The minimum interval between applications is 4 weeks, in the absence of safety studies that justify a shorter interval. Method of application: Hold the pipette vertically and tap lightly on the narrow part to ensure that all the contents are in the body of the pipette. Break off the tip. Part the hair at the base of the neck, between the shoulder blades, until the skin is visible. Touch the tip of the pipette to the skin and empty all the contents into a single point, squeezing several times.

Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances or any of the excipients.
