Abelia Zn-Otic Solution 118ml

Abelia Zn-Otic is an aqueous solution of Boric Acid, Zinc Gluconate, Lysine and Taurine, with antimicrobial, antipruritic, drying and healing action of high security for the treatment and prophylaxis of acute or chronic otitis in dogs, cats and exotic animals. Restores the microenvironment of the ear canal, creating an environment that favors its natural healing.

Indications for use, specifying the target species:

• To reduce itching and discomfort associated with otitis;
• Chronic otitis, as long-term maintenance to prevent future relapses;
• Simple acute otitis, particularly those in which the main agent is Malassezia;
• Coadjuvant therapy with antibiotics, antifungals or topical steroids in complicated otitis (eg Pseudomonas);
• To restore the microenvironment of the ear canal, creating an environment that favors its natural healing;
• Sensitive, irritated or ulcerated ears;
• Ears whose tympanic membrane is not intact (or there is suspicion);
• Preventive drying of the ear canal (eg swimming dogs);
• Bad-smelling ears.
• For dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets and other exotic animals.

Advice for use:

First application: Clean the ear canal with an appropriate cerumenolytic optical cleaner. Fill the ear canal with Abelia Zn-Otic. Gently massage the base of the ear for a few seconds. Let it dry. Subsequent applications: administer, depending on the size of the animal, from 0.25 ml (5 drops) to 3 ml twice a day. Maintenance: apply 1-2 times a week.
