Otoceril Ear Drops 10ml

Otoceril Ear Drops are indicated to facilitate the removal of earwax from the external auditory canal.

Active substances: Chlorobutanol hemihydrate (chloretone) 50 mg/ml, Para-dichlorobenzene 20 mg/ml, Benzocaine 20 mg/ml.

The medicinal combination that constitutes Otoceril dissolves and breaks down earwax, using para-dichlorobenzene and turpentine, while benzocaine provides protection against possible local irritation and chlorobutanol provides local antiseptic and preservative action.

Dosage and method of administration:

Ear use. Directions for adult administration: Instill 3 to 5 drops of Otoceril into the ear, plugging the ear canal with a cotton ball soaked in petroleum jelly to prevent leakage. Continue treatment for 2 to 5 days and irrigate if necessary.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. External otitis and seborrheic dermatitis or eczema affecting the external ear.
