Sand Clear is a highly palatable supplement that prevents and helps eliminate sand build-up in the horse's intestines.

Characteristics:

• Contains 99% pure Psyllium seed husk.
• Psyllium absorbs water in the intestine, forming a gel that softens the feces and drags away the sand accumulated in the ventral colon.
• Dietary support for sand colic and constipation.
• Elimination of sand from the ventral colon, both preventively and post-surgery.
• It promotes intestinal transit, helping to normalize insufficient defecation frequency.
• Indicated in situations where easy defecation with soft stools is desirable, such as after rectal or anal surgery, rectovaginal lacerations or fistulas, postpartum, etc.
• Effective in horses of all ages.

Directions for use:

In situations of possible intestinal retention, in animals located in sandy habitats or with a history of sand ingestion, or as post-surgical support: 1 measure/100 kg/day, for 5 consecutive days, once/month. Expulsion of large quantities of sand: 3 measures/100 kg/day, for 3-5 days. Lubricant/Bowel evacuation: 1/2 measure/100 kg/day, until constipation disappears.
