Sekitocil 3.54mg/ml Syrup is a non-prescription medicine for the treatment of unproductive forms of cough, such as irritating cough or nervous cough, in adults and children from 2 years of age.

Composition : Composition per 1ml: Cloperastine fendizoate 3.54mg (equivalent to 2mg of cloperastine).

Dosage and method of administration:

The recommended dose is as follows: Adults and children over 12 years of age - 10ml, 3 times a day. Children aged 7 to 12 years - 5ml, 2 times a day. Children aged 5 to 6 years - 3ml, 2 times a day. Children aged 2 to 4 years - 2ml, 2 times a day. It can be used in elderly patients, but extreme caution should be exercised. Oral administration. Preferably administered in the morning, at midday and in the evening. Each Sekitocil package comes with a 2 to 20ml measuring cup and a 5ml graduated syringe with 2 markings of 0.25ml to allow for correct administration of the prescribed dose. Shake the bottle before use. Duration of treatment: 7 days. The administration of the medication with food or drink does not affect the effectiveness of the medication. Alcoholic beverages should not be consumed during treatment.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Hypersensitivity to antihistamines. This medicine should not be used in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). Pregnancy and breastfeeding. Children under 2 years of age.
