Levotuss 60mg 20 tablets

Levotuss 60mg is indicated for symptomatic cough therapy.

Active substances: levodropropizine.

Levodropropizine is an antitussive with peripheral activity at the tracheobronchial level, associated with anti-allergic and anti-bronchospasm activity. In addition, it has a local anesthetic activity in animals.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults and children over 30 kg: one tablet 3 times a day, with an interval of at least 6 hours between each dose. Pediatric population: Not indicated in children under 6 years and weighing 30 kg. Treatment should be continued until the cough disappears or as directed by your doctor. However, if after 14 days of treatment, cough is still present, it is advised to discontinue treatment and seek medical advice. In fact, cough is a symptom and the underlying disease must be diagnosed and treated.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Administration of this medicinal product should be avoided in patients with bronchorrhea and reduced mucociliary function (Kartagener syndrome, ciliary dyskinesia). Pregnancy and lactation.
