Fluprox 600mg 20 effervescent tablets

Fluprox it is a mucolytic adjuvant in the treatment of respiratory problems associated with hypersecretion of thick, viscous mucus.

Active substance: 600mg of acetylcysteine.

Acetylcysteine is a sulfur amino acid characterized by its fluidizing action on mucous and mucopurulent secretions in respiratory tract pathologies that are characterized by evolving with hypersecretion and mucostasis. Its pharmacological action translates into a reduction in the viscosity of secretions and an improvement in mucociliary functionality.

Posology and method of administration:

Dosage in adults: 1 effervescent tablet daily, preferably in the evening. Maximum recommended daily dose of 600 mg/day. Dosage in children: Do not use in children under 12 years of age or weighing less than 30 kg. Children over 12 years of age: the same dose as for adults. Completely dissolve the effervescent tablet in half a glass of water or other liquid. Use glass or plastic material cup.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
