Acetylcysteine Azevedos 40mg/ml 200ml oral solution

Acetylcysteine ​​Azevedos is a mucolytic adjuvant in the treatment of respiratory problems associated with hypersecretion of thick, viscous mucus.

Active substance: Each ml of oral solution contains 40 mg of acetylcysteine.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults: 600 mg (15 ml) of Acetylcysteine ​​Azevedos, once a day, preferably in the evening, or 200 mg (5 ml) of Acetylcysteine ​​Azevedos, 3 times a day. Maximum recommended dose: 600 mg/day. Do not use in children under 2 years of age. Children from 2 to 6 years of age: 300 mg (7.5 ml) of Acetylcysteine ​​Azevedos, once a day, preferably in the evening, or 100 mg (2.5 ml) of Acetylcysteine ​​Azevedos, 3 times a day. Maximum recommended daily dose: 300 mg/day. Children 6 to 12 years of age: 300 mg to 400 mg (7.5 to 10 ml) of Acetylcysteine ​​Azevedos, once daily, preferably in the evening, or 100 mg (2.5 ml) of Acetylcysteine ​​Azevedos, 3 to 4 times a day. Maximum recommended daily dose: 300 to 400 mg/day. Children over 12 years of age: the same dose as for adults.

Acetylcysteine ​​Azevedos can be taken orally, using a measuring cup included in the package.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Gastroduodenal ulcer. Severe asthma exacerbation.
