Duphalac Plum Oral Solution 200ml

Duphalac it is indicated to treat symptomatic constipation (unusual bowel movements, hard and dry stools) and to make stools soft. For example: if you have hemorrhoids or if you have had surgery in the anal area or in the lower part of the intestine.

Active substance (s): Lactulose 667mg / ml

Lactulose makes the stool soft, by attracting water to the intestine, facilitating its passage. Laxative is not absorbed into the body.

Posology and method of administration:

Take doses at the same time each day. Swallow the medicine quickly. Do not keep it in your mouth. You can take Duphalac Plum oral solution diluted in some liquid or undiluted.

The dosage should be adjusted according to the patient's individual needs.

The dose can be taken as a single daily dose, for example, during breakfast, or divided into two daily doses.

After a few days, the initial dosage can be adjusted to the maintenance dose, based on the response to treatment. It may take several days (2–3 days) of treatment before its effect is felt.

According to the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
