Transpulmina Adult Association Ointment is intended for external use on the skin, and is used for the relief of symptoms associated with common airway disorders (flu and colds) in adults aged 18 years and over.

Active substance: Camphor 25 mg; Eucalyptol 100 mg; Menthol 50 mg.

Camphor acts as a spasmolytic and expectorant. Eucalyptus oil (and its main constituent eucalyptol) acts as an expectorant, has secretolytic, slightly antispasmodic and slightly local hyperemic activity. Menthol acts as a vascular stimulant and weak local anesthetic.

Dosage and method of administration:

Use of this ointment should be limited to adults 18 years of age and older. Unless otherwise prescribed, apply approximately 4 cm of ointment, 2 to 4 times a day. Gently spread on the chest and/or back for a few minutes. Make sure that children do not come into contact (with their hands) with treated areas. The duration of treatment with Transpulmina (Adult) ointment depends on the type, severity and course of the disease. If symptoms persist or worsen after 3 days, or in case of changes in breathing, headache, fever and/or coughing up pus or blood, or purulent nasal discharge, treatment should be stopped immediately and a doctor should be consulted. .

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Hypersensitivity to the parabens methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216). Patients with bronchial asthma, whooping cough, pseudolaryngotracheobronchitis or other diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by marked airway hypersensitivity. Inhalation of Transpulmina (Adult) ointment may cause bronchoconstriction. This medicine is not intended for children. Application on skin with dermatological problems accompanied by exanthema (skin rash), as well as on damaged skin, for example in the case of burns. Patients at increased risk of seizures due to camphor content. During pregnancy and lactation.

If in doubt or if symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
